E-SERIES

Externally geared slew rings are widely used in many medium to heavy load applications. This includes industrial, man lift, cranes, robots and welding positioners. Standard E-series slew rings are composed of an external ring with straight gear teeth, an internal ring, and a specific number of rolling elements in between. These can be driven through meshing with an appropriate Pinion.

Non-standard E-series slew rings are composed of an external ring with helical teeth instead of straight. These can be meshed with appropriate pinions but are widely used to mesh with worm gears as components of Slew Drives.
