This series is manufactured without teeth on either ring. The S-series is simply composed of an internal ring, an external ring, and a specific number of rolling elements in between. These rings are mainly used as idlers in many applications that require heavy load to be carried but does not to be motorized to rotate. Applications include hose reels, hand rotated pallets in the packaging industry, and positioner follower support for large welding structures. In some industries, S-series slew rings are used as an idler to Slew Drive carrying and rotating the load.
